Dear members and friends of the Israel Analytical Chemistry Society,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my pleasure to invite you to participate in ISRANALYTICA 2009, the 12th Annual Meeting of the Israel Analytical Chemistry Society. The Conference and Exhibition will take place in January 20-21, 2009, at the David Intercontinental Hotel, Tel-Aviv, Israel.

The annual meetings of the Israel Analytical Chemical Society have become the largest annual conference in chemistry in Israel. In the last ISRANALYTICA meetings over 2,000 participants from academia, the chemical industry, major laboratories and companies from Israel and 40 other countries, attended. Last year the number of attendees has reached 2,500. In fact, ISRANALYTICA combines the largest chemistry convention in Israel with the largest analytical chemistry exhibition in one location.

As a result of the wide diversity of analytical chemistry ISRANALYTICA has become the prominent analytical chemistry event for instrumental analysts coming from chemistry, biochemistry and biology, all sorts of engineers, water experts, metrologists and people from the pharmaceutical industry. Leading companies of analytical equipment have also successfully participated bridging between technology developments and end users.

The scientific program will cover a large variety of modern topics in analytical chemistry. Leading academic researchers and industrial practitioners will present their recent achievements providing a forum for exchange of exciting developments as well as problem sharing with leading scientists and expert representatives of major instrumentation companies. The program will consist a few plenary lectures delivered by international top scientists, oral presentations (in two parallel sessions) featuring speakers from Israel and abroad and a large poster session. The exhibition will take place in a large and central location adjacent to the seminar rooms. Three prestigious poster awards will be granted by a committee to outstanding posters in the general assembly of the Israel Analytical Chemistry Society.

This year as before special sessions will be allocated for new applications, modern regulatory methods and other fields, which have not been so far represented, such as petrochemistry and food industry.

ISRANALYTICA has been recognized by the Analytical Chemistry Division of the European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences.

The remarkable success of ISRANALYTICA meetings is primarily due to the participants. Therefore, you are encouraged to participate in ISRANALYTICA 2009 by submitting an abstract, presenting your analytical equipment though one of the conference booths or simply and most importantly by attending the conference. With this we assure to have an excited, interesting and fruitful meeting.
