It is my pleasure to invite you to participate in ISRANALYTICA 2007, The 10th Annual Meeting of the Israel Analytical Chemistry Society. The Conference and Exhibition will take place in January 23 - 24, 2007, in the David Intercontinental Hotel, in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

In the recent years, the Meeting has achieved major successes and has become the most prestigious chemistry meeting in Israel. In 2006 it has attracted more than 1850 participants from the academy, the chemical industry, major laboratories and companies in Israel. In fact, ISRANALYTICA has become the largest chemistry convention in Israel, accompanied by the largest exhibition. Moreover, the Conference has been recognized as an international event, attracting analytical chemists from all over the world.

The scientific program will cover a large variety of modern topics in analytical chemistry. Leading researchers from the academy and the industry will present their recent achievements and will discuss the most exciting developments. The program will consist of several plenary lectures by international top scientists, oral presentations (in parallel sessions) featuring speakers from Israel and abroad and a large poster session. The exhibition will take place in a large and central location.

This year’s Conference will be a very special one, since it celebrates the first decade of our Society. In retrospective view of the last 10 years of activities, we observe with satisfaction that most of our goals have been accomplished. We hope that all the analytical chemists of Israel will participate at this special celebration and will contribute to discussions for designing our way to the second decade.
